Elephant Folio uses on-device AI (Apple Intelligence) to automatically sort, tag, and rename your PDFs the moment they arrive. No manual filing. All processing happens on-device.
It indexes the contents of every PDF, making your entire library instantly searchable by filename, tag, or anything written inside a document. A Safari extension imports papers directly from the web, a Share extension captures files from Mail and other apps, and everything syncs privately via iCloud.

Privacy Policy▾
Information Collection
Your privacy is very important. Elephant Folio does not collect any personal identifiable information. We do not use advertising SDKs. Elephant Folio can be used without sharing any personally identifying information.
Data Storage
Elephant Folio takes advantage of Apple's framework (Core Data) to store your data locally on your device (sqlite3). To synchronize data between devices Elephant Folio uses Apple's CloudKit service. If you have iCloud services enabled Elephant Folio will store your data in your private CloudKit container. Data saved to iCloud can not be accessed by us. If you do not use iCloud, your data will be stored locally on your device and will not leave it. Apple's Privacy Policy can be found here.
End User License Agreement▾
License
Use of Elephant Folio is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for applications distributed through the App Store. You can review the full agreement here.
Lifetime License
Purchase of a Lifetime License entitles the User to use Elephant Folio on all supported Apple platforms, including iOS and macOS, under the same Apple ID used to complete the purchase. The Lifetime License includes access to all future updates and feature releases at no additional cost. No recurring payments or subsequent purchases are required for continued use of the Application or any of its updates on any supported platform.
Purchase via App Store
This Application or specific Products available for sale on this Application must be purchased via a third-party app store.
To access such purchases, Users must follow the instructions provided on the relevant online store "Apple App Store".
Users purchasing through such third-party online stores must therefore read such terms and conditions of sale carefully and accept them.
Subscriptions handled via Apple ID
Users may subscribe to a Product using the Apple ID associated with their Apple App Store account by using the relevant process on this Application. When doing so, Users acknowledge and accept that:
- •Any payment due shall be charged to their Apple ID account.
- •Subscriptions are automatically renewed for the same duration unless the User cancels at least 24 hours before the current period expires.
- •Any and all fees or payments due for renewal will be charged within 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- •Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in the Users' Apple App Store account settings.
The above shall prevail upon any conflicting or diverging provision of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elephant Folio and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application.
Elephant Folio relies on on-device intelligence to organize and categorize your PDFs. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all files will be categorized or tagged correctly. Users are encouraged to review their organized files and make adjustments as needed.
Elephant Folio uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services for data synchronization. We are not responsible for any data loss, sync failures, or service interruptions caused by third-party services, including Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
By using Elephant Folio, you acknowledge and agree that the Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied.
