Well, look no further. Elephant Folio is here to effortlessly organize your PDF library on your device. Simply drop your PDFs on a device with Apple Intelligence, and Elephant Folio will take care of creating the folders and tags to organize your library.
All processing happens on-device, so your documents are never analyzed by external servers. And if you are not on the latest phone with Apple Intelligence — no problem! You can still add your files on that device and wait until you open Elephant Folio on an Apple Intelligence-equipped device to conveniently organize your files.
Elephant Folio offers extensibility where you need it most. It comes with a powerful Safari extension that allows you to seamlessly import any PDF you encounter online into your library. Additionally, it includes a Share extension that enables you to fold the next important PDF you receive via email directly into Elephant Folio.
Overwhelmed by paper handouts? Simply scan them with your iPhone camera, and Elephant Folio will automatically categorize them by topic. That syllabus from week one? You'll find it conveniently located when finals approach.
Elephant Folio provides a comprehensive search feature that allows you to search by filenames, tags, or even the content of your documents.
Being a native iOS/macOS app means that all your data syncs between your Apple devices with iCloud, and you can pick up where you left off.
We understand that different users have different workflows, so all your Elephant Folio files can be accessed through the Documents folder by any app. You can also open documents from the app in any editor you choose.
You are of no need for the memory of an elephant. Just make Elephant Folio your habit.
Privacy Policy
Information Collection
Your privacy is very important. Elephant Folio does not collect any personal identifiable information. We do not use advertising SDKs. Elephant Folio can be used without sharing any personally identifying information.
Data Storage
Elephant Folio takes advantage of Apple's framework (Core Data) to store your data locally on your device (sqlite3). To synchronize data between devices Elephant Folio uses Apple's CloudKit service. If you have iCloud services enabled Elephant Folio will store your data in your private CloudKit container. Data saved to iCloud can not be accessed by us. If you do not use iCloud, your data will be stored locally on your device and will not leave it. Apple's Privacy Policy can be found here.
End User License Agreement
License
Use of Elephant Folio is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for applications distributed through the App Store. You can review the full agreement here.
Lifetime License
Purchase of a Lifetime License entitles the User to use Elephant Folio on all supported Apple platforms, including iOS and macOS, under the same Apple ID used to complete the purchase. The Lifetime License includes access to all future updates and feature releases at no additional cost. No recurring payments or subsequent purchases are required for continued use of the Application or any of its updates on any supported platform.
Purchase via App Store
This Application or specific Products available for sale on this Application must be purchased via a third-party app store.
To access such purchases, Users must follow the instructions provided on the relevant online store "Apple App Store".
Users purchasing through such third-party online stores must therefore read such terms and conditions of sale carefully and accept them.
Subscriptions handled via Apple ID
Users may subscribe to a Product using the Apple ID associated with their Apple App Store account by using the relevant process on this Application. When doing so, Users acknowledge and accept that:
- •Any payment due shall be charged to their Apple ID account.
- •Subscriptions are automatically renewed for the same duration unless the User cancels at least 24 hours before the current period expires.
- •Any and all fees or payments due for renewal will be charged within 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- •Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in the Users' Apple App Store account settings.
The above shall prevail upon any conflicting or diverging provision of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elephant Folio and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application.
Elephant Folio relies on on-device intelligence to organize and categorize your PDFs. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all files will be categorized or tagged correctly. Users are encouraged to review their organized files and make adjustments as needed.
Elephant Folio uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services for data synchronization. We are not responsible for any data loss, sync failures, or service interruptions caused by third-party services, including Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
By using Elephant Folio, you acknowledge and agree that the Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied.
